The program will cover establishment of snack food facilities, operating principles of the three major types of extruders, supporting equipment, fried corn chips, corn tortilla chips, friction extruder-puffed fried and baked snacks, single, twin-screw extruder snacks, high protein and whole grain snacks, cereal chips, fryers and ovens, packaging, and quality assurance.

SNX – the snack industry’s main education and networking forum – brings hundreds of snack producers and suppliers together for three days of insightful discussions, in-depth business meetings, discovery, and fun.

Attendees can network informally in the Experience Zone, a kiosk-style show where people visit informally at booths highlighting each step of the snack development process. The Zone features a Sustainable Packaging Showcase, a Name That Flavor: Creation Station, and a Virtual Reality Lounge. The new format also features Supplier Suites, where suppliers and snack producers can hold private, uninterrupted business meetings.
