In this role, the Vice President of Advocacy is responsible for setting and executing the strategy and direction of SNAC’s Advocacy Department, which includes federal and state legislative activity, regulatory affairs, legal affairs, and political activity through SnackPAC. As the head of the Advocacy Department, this role requires leadership, creativity and consensus building as you are tasked with looking around corners for potential opportunities and threats arising from regulatory, legislative, political and/or legal activity, while also ensuring the details associated with compliance and implementation of regulation and legislation preserve our industry’s ability to prosper. The success of this role hinges on building consensus around SNAC’s priorities.
