Arlington, VA – August 18, 2026—SNAC International, the leading international trade association of the snack industry, today announced the addition of two new team members as the association continues to strengthen its commitment to member engagement, retention, and growth. Brady O’Brien has joined the organization as Manager, Membership & Communications, and Cheryl Bass has been named Manager, Member Experience. The new hires reflect SNAC’s continued investment in delivering exceptional value to members while expanding the association’s reach across the evolving snack industry.

Bass joins SNAC from the International Bottled Water Association, where she developed extensive experience supporting members and enhancing the member experience. In her new role, she will serve as a primary resource for SNAC members, with a strong focus on member engagement, retention, and satisfaction. “Cheryl’s passion for membership service and building meaningful relationships makes her an outstanding addition to the SNAC team,” said Cindy Kuester, President & CEO of SNAC International. “She understands the importance of delivering value to members every day and will be a go-to resource for our member companies. Her experience and energy will help us further strengthen engagement and ensure our members remain at the center of everything we do.”

O’Brien joins SNAC after association roles with the Path to Purchase Institute and the Vermont Retail & Grocers Association. As Manager, Membership & Communications, he will help lead efforts to grow SNAC membership, expand outreach into both traditional and emerging areas of the snack industry, and enhance the association’s communications strategy. “Brady brings a strong background in association management and a proven track record of connecting organizations with the audiences they serve,” said Kelly Knowles, Executive Vice President of SNAC International. “His focus will be on driving membership growth across traditional and non-traditional snacking sectors while elevating SNAC’s communications efforts to better engage current and prospective members. As the snack industry continues to evolve, Brady’s experience will help position SNAC for continued growth and success.”
