SNAC International's Executive Leadership Forum Captured in Photos

November 3, 2017

Over 150 snack industry leaders traveled to Colorado, Springs, CO for SNAC International’s 41st Annual Executive Leadership Forum (ELF). The conference kicked off Sunday evening, Sep. 17, with an opening reception at the top of Cheyenne Mountain giving SNAC executives an opportunity to connect with old friends and meet new colleagues.

The following two days were jam-packed with deep insights on the future of the snack category and an incoming generation of consumers that will be more connected than ever before. The educational program featured insightful sessions on the impact of social media with consumers, a presentation on leading multigenerational teams, and a panel discussion featuring the founders and funders of some of the most innovative snack companies including Hippeas and Quinn Snacks. In between sessions, SNAC executives participated in recreational networking activities in the fresh Rocky Mountain air, including fishing, golfing, ziplining, and more.

First-time attendee Stephen Wolfe, General Manager, tna North America said, “As a firsttime attendee, I had no idea what to expect. What I found was a superbly organized event that featured well thought out speakers who were pertinent to the industry and the challenges we face. The afternoon events were cleverly structured in teams that allowed great networking opportunities coupled with fun and memorable events. Looking forward to ELF 2018!”

The finale of the Executive Leadership Forum featured keynote speaker John Mackey, CEO, Whole Foods. In one of his first speaking engagements since the Amazon-Whole Foods acquisition, Mackey shared his unique ideas on conscious leadership and the future of Whole Foods. A special thanks to our sponsors for their generous support and to the Executive Leadership Forum Planning Committee for ensuring this program as a must attend event!
